Local Activities
Welcome to a small group of traditional Irish self catering cottages located near historic Hillsborough, Northern Ireland. The Erwin family has developed three cottages to a high standard using traditional materials and can offer the visitor the flexibility of staying in cottages that can sleep two, four or six.

Fishing
Excellent coarse fishing available at Lough Aghery – private jetty available (200 meters).
Waterskiing
Waterskiing lessons are available through Lough Aghery waterski Club which is just 200 meters from the cottages. Details available at www.loughagherywaterski.com or arrangements can be made through Clintagh Cottages.
Horse riding
Cross country course (1 mile) Stabling facilities are available for your own horse at the cottages.
Cycling
Small quiet country roads allow you to take in the natural beauty of the area. Owners will provide suggested routes.
Walking
For the more relaxed walkers they can enjoy Hillsborough Forest Park and Lake Walk (6 miles) or Drumkerragh Forest (6 miles) Castlewellan Forest Park (12 miles). The more adventurous can climb Slieve Croob (5 miles) and the Mountains of Mourne (15 miles).
